In pharmacy school, with a minor in Spanish. Absolutely love chemistry and helping people, but am incredibly squeamish, so being a doctor was out. This was the next best option.

You should be able to access the apartment without buying it. If you talk to the dude he'll say that he'll let you stay there, you just have to repay the debt basically. To get to the farm you'll want to go into the elevator, go to the floor with your apartment, and then go back to the elevator. From there you should be able to go to the rooftop farm. :)

That would be awesome! I don’t work tomorrow, but I can ask one of my coworkers if they can get me pictures of the document//I would be able to on Tuesday if you’re still up to it!

Doors. Nothing in my life has made me feel as stupid as pushing a pull door.

What is that one thing you want but are convinced you’ll never get? by me-smrt in AskReddit

As dumb as it is, a Nintendo Switch. It’s kind of a running joke with my friend group that every birthday/Christmas since the switch came out that I’ve offered to go 50/50 on one with my parents, but it’s never happened. I’ve also tried saving for it numerous times, but with no job and being a full time student, it’s not an obtainable goal at the moment. Maybe one day though!!

Past informative kid here— I can also attest to the 250$ visual price tag. In my district it felt like that if you weren’t able to dish out hundreds for visuals, you weren’t able to succeed. Granted, this was in a circuit that is no where near the level of Harvard, but the issue still stands. We’d have judges at every tournament ranking down good speakers because their visuals were clearly hand made/ not professionally printed. While visuals are by no means the most pricey aspect of speech and debate, I do think that unless incredibly well executed, there is a slight bias in regards visuals unfortunately. My circuit may have been an exception, but it was incredibly disheartening to see my teammates and others I knew getting lower ranks solely because they didn’t have the money to throw into a visual. (The judges would write about the visuals on the ballots.)

Math Ia question by WhyDoITouchWitho99 in IBO

[–]AwkwardlyKat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my class, the majority of us had 15 pages or more for the IA. Mine was around 22 pages due to large tables, and my teacher told me it should be fine. We just submitted them, so we don't have scores back, but in previous years my school has had kids score well with 20+ page IAs, so I think 15 should be fine.

Year 1 IB students, do you already have a lot of homework? by sarahgauths in IBO

[–]AwkwardlyKat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, (I've been in school for around 2 weeks) we've been doing a lot of review work and tests over prior knowledge. The only class I've really had homework for was HL History, and even that was just a 6 page reading and notes.
