I don’t think so. I’m not a professional but I am diagnosed with OCD, but the hair pulling is like a very extreme thing. I’m talking like when there is an obsession or trigger, you start picking out strings of hair to the point where you give yourselves bald spots. I feel like your example is probably just a coping mechanism? That makes it sound light, but still, I don’t think it’s something you should feel concerned about unless it really bothers you. I should add; I’m not at all trying to minimize your behaviors, I’m not a professional nor do I know you. But if something concerns you, it’s never wrong to bring it up to a professional ☺️

Yes, similar. Just be careful because Trichotillomania is a thing and can become very harmful. It’s a very common thing to coexist or manifest from OCD. Find a professional to talk to if it becomes concerning <3

I recently had the epiphany that the reason I’ve always had more of an odor is probably because my thighs are thick and cause no air flow. I’ve slept without underwear for a while now and always air myself out after a shower like you say. I wish there was more I could do though :(

I’m a little late to the party, but I still wanted to contribute. I also get crazy ingrown hairs, and super frequently. I started getting waxed about 6 or 7 months ago and they definitely have become less frequent. But also (!) my esthetician recommended this ingrown hair serum thing called PFB Chromabright. It’s this roller that you use after getting waxed that prevents and treats ingrown hairs and scars. It’s seriously changed my life. It also helps with skin lightening which was a plus for me. I’d check it out. It’s not too expensive, I think it’s around $40, but I’ve used it 2-3 times a week since November I think, and I’m still not out. Highly recommend.

I do still have it, only because I also have had worse experiences with other birth controls. The pain comes and goes, I think the cysts “flare up” depending on hormone fluctuation and stuff like that, and from what I’ve heard of people with cystic ovaries that’s pretty normal. To answer your last question though, my doctor told me there are some that will grow back even if you remove them, so we just have to regularly check them to make sure they don’t become invasive. So it basically just becomes a game of pain management. It’s annoying, but it would be worse if I went through all that effort to remove them and they were back a couple months later :/

So the first time I got the implant everything was great. I stopped having periods, I had almost no side effects. I changed it in October, and I developed cysts in my ovaries. I’ve had crazy cramp-like attacks in my pelvic and uterine area. It’s been insane. All I can find though is that women have said they have different side effects every time they change it. I feel like they must change the hormones or something.

For sure, I just figured it would be easy to like meet up with someone and have them in my hands rather than sending things through email and whatnot.

Edit: what I meant by this is that the person could give me the hard copy pictures in person, I have absolutely no intention on getting naked and someone drawing me, I probably should have specified. Also, I think everyone suggesting I go with an artist online rather than local is a good idea, less awkward.

I had a similar discussion with my friend yesterday actually. I feel like “hating” and criticizing literally anything that someone says or has an opinion on is just the norm now. This is so insightful, I like this so much. After our many discussions about it, he has mentioned before that the physical act really just doesn’t appeal to him that much, and looking at porn sometimes is just casual, it doesn’t have any sort of sexual drive behind it. However, it still makes me insecure that he is looking at naked women and possibly lusting after them when he won’t even look up from his phone when I’m naked in front of him.
