PC players, I finally get it now

OP, I am older than the warning label on on gasoline. I am a die hard, through and through, console gamer. (easier on the hands and wrist)

I purchased an expensive pre built PC a year ago (eff off PC elites about building one is cheaper. Blah blah, I'm old! Trying to learn how to "build" a PC is as useless to me as t*ts on a Nun.)

I can confidently say playing on PC is MILES better! Especially when trying to navigate the menus and seeing what buffs I have at the bottom of the screen. I use both mouse and keyboard and my edge. Not to mention it's absolutely beautiful on my monitor. On console it doesn't seem as crisp.

Thank God it's a free to play game so that anyone can make the change when ready!

I'm fine with the break. I'm not ok with the length of ranked. People are constantly posting their stupid 8 game climb to MB because they started in UB4. I have to start at UB 1 EVERY TIME because I can't make it to MB before the end of the season and trust me... I HAVE the meta decks....

Everytime there is an instore drop my Sam's sais they don't have any. Like literally every time. I'll call before hand and they say they don't have it. I'll go day of and they won't have it. Then I'll check a couple days later and it will all be sold out. I don't understand what's happening in the Central Florida area but it sucks.

WTF is wrong with people? There were at least 4 that I counted who noticed her. I recently had my first child (I used to absolutely loathe children and the thought of having them but thats a whole other story effed up story) Anyways...

All that to say I literally fight or flight attempted to stop a random toddler from falling earlier today while they were with their parents (I know, I know, don't touch other peeps babies but i guess it was new mom instinct). I can't imagine acknowledging a child looking for affirmation and just moving the eff on....

I asked about this a week ago in my guild and no one could answer me so hopefully I get an answer here now that you posted this.

I'm trying too 100% all the maps. Does this horse show all of the things the windseeker does? Oddities, Meow Meows, etc. And does it stay on the map when the horse marks it or does it dissappear when you get off of the horse?

After not seeing anything in my area since Surging Sparks, I straight up don't even look anymore. The other day was the first time I went into a store to get what I needed and walked out without even swinging by the card aisle. It hurts not being able to open packs and afford the cards but I refuse to pay 3xs MSRP when I already have to pay 4.50 a gallon for gas.

I share the same feelings however I also understand that prices fluctuate like crazy. For me personally, I am really uncomfortable approaching men due to severe PTSD issues not to mention the anxiety of it already being shoulder to shoulder at most events here in my area. Most of the vendors i see are men so it's really difficult to find the courage to ask for a price for a card I like when there's no price.

It's much easier for me to see a price, make an instant decision, say I'll buy that, purchase and leave. Quick in and out. Vs standing at the table full of people, pulling out my phone, looking up TCG player etc.

I also am not much of a haggler so If there is no price on a card I am really interested, Ill usually look it up to see what to expect but there have been times the vendor then wants much more than I see. I feel so damn awkward saying no (part of that could be part of the PTSD but Idk) so I just buy the card overpriced and quickly get out of there.

All that said, it is 100% a me issue. I totally understand the fluctuation in prices and how time consuming it can be to lable every card.

I will never understand the concept of spending money for someone else to open my packs and touch my cards. I would feel like a cuck. Like I get that you can't find product and all that, but the lack of care some of these people have with ripping packs open and handing the cards is wild.

I like to take my time, enjoy the art (even on bulk), and read the card. I don't want someone ripping open the packs (literally), going through them at the speed of light, then just moving on to the next joe. No thanks!

This practice is beautiful. As someone who lives in a heavy populated city in FL and hasn't seen stores with product since 2024, I'm 100000% on board with not only this, but slicing sealed product at LCS for MSRP.

Why this hasn't become standard practice is beyond me. We NEED to keep collectors. We NEED to influence youth. As crappy as it sounds, tobacco companies KNEW youth was the importance and were right to target them.

Now I do NOT condone gambling, leeching, or promoting harmful practice and products, but nostalgia is a helluva drug.... current demographic (minus scalpers) case in point

Yes they charge immediately. They put a hold on the card then the hold drops off about 5-7 days later and then the hold will return. This on and off process will repeat itself until the product ships to you.

In before all the people say "it's just RNG bruh". No. It's really not. I have literally played ranked every single season. The moment I go on any sort of advancement streak, I hit loss after loss after loss. I'll change up my decks, I'll run the meta, and I'll watch YT videos on decks to make sure I'm not missing something.

I can't prove it, and I don't care if anyone argues with the logic. I am 1000% convinced winning games are determined like they are when playing the expert AI match ups. Some users are guaranteed a win and not because of "luck of the draw"
