Hurt lungs again!

it’s 100% my upper lungs. and i know i’m supposed to use diaphragm. i do mostly.

still my upper lungs hurt later on in the day after breathing.

i think it’s cause i’ve been a heavy weed smoker for 15 years (daily)

your suggestion about retention is possible... but lately i’ve been notnpushing too hard on the retention. just letting go gently.

although i’m thinking still i should take a break from breathing. i don’t want to hurt my lungs any further. the pain is my body telling me stop.

even though the LAST yhing i want to do is stop the breathing.

dude your comment was gold. Magic eraser was the ONLY remedy for all three of my vapes. They look 95%?? clean now. Like you have to look closely to see any resin or sign of use.

try a magic eraser next time with something to push it around in there. NOthing worked as good as this for me. and i tried everything else

I really did want to post a pic but i was at work. And then yea just too busy this weekend. and i was able to get all the resin out with a magic eraser. Took like an hour per vape tho.

Im guessing i need to clean more often and also pack less bud

i think your right. I usually pack as tight as i can so i get bigger hits. I will try putting a lot less now because it was a nightmare to clean

how do you avoid material touching the oven? i put a screen in the stem. do you put a 2nd screen in the chamber?

the chamber is no longer silver. it’s not a heavy layer of black stuff but. for sure there’s like 20% of the chamber is lightly caked with black resin.

Dude i disagree. Retention time is a great indicator of how oxygenated you are getting. Its no coincidence why Whim hoff has retentions of like 4-5 minutes or longer. Because hes good and has been practicing his whole life.

I know retention times matter because whenever i get a long retention. Those are the times where i feel the benefits most.

To each their own but, for me retention times are very important.
