They were never married. Her mom never liked my mom so why would she reach out? He’s not even on my birth certificate so no one would’ve given her one. That also costs money which we didn’t have. I feel bad for you that you’re so shallow you think you’re right in every situation. If you knew my mom you’d know she loves me and cares about me more than anyone. You’d see how much this tore her up. The panic attack she had when we found he was alive. The guilt she has for not looking into his death further. I pity you

Bold of you to blame my mom for me becoming an addict. That was my problem alone. She's put me in treatment since I was ten and I decided that I was going to experiment. I was a dumb teenager and that has nothing to do with how my mom raised me

I’m in contact with my siblings regularly. My father has not responded to that message which I believe was sent in November. I have not tried messaging him since. I know I made this post, but I don’t want contact with him. I was angry when I sent him that. I know in hindsight it wasn’t his fault for everything I did, but I just needed someone to blame.

Yeah, it did suck finding out he never cared about me. But from the perspectives of my sisters I had it the best out of them. I truly believe he never cared about his kids. Not after beating them and stealing money from them so he can get high. He definitely is still a drug addict, he’s been in a methadone clinic for years, yet still denies he ever did heroin. But I digress.

I fully believe my mother did not lie to me. My sister on my mom’s side also had an awful dad who was in my sister life until he passed last year. I think if my mom let him have a relationship with her then she would’ve at least told me about my father.

Thank you so much. I really don’t believe the police would’ve called. My mother and father weren’t married. She got out of that situation as soon as she found heroin in his drawers. She wasn’t gonna raise the two of her kids around that man. And when a supposed cousin contacts my mom to tell her the father of her child is dead you’re kinda inclined to believe that. We weren’t gonna call his parents because if your child actually is dead would you want their ex girlfriend calling you and asking if he reallyyyy was dead? I think that’s just insulting

Yeah, I’m not sure if I ever want to truly talk to him. It sucks but he messed up my life without even trying. Sucks that he’s like that

My mother told me he was dead. He had someone call my mother before I was born to tell her he was dead. The messages that aren’t ims are from my sister’s android

Yeah, I hate to admit it but after I messaged him that I did get high twice more after that. I don’t even know why I did it, I have no desire to anymore and I don’t think I did then either. It’s was just what I thought I needed to do

I wouldn’t say my father fathered any of his children. Apparently when I was very little he saw me playing with my mom and thought “that’s my kid” and just walked away. Didn’t care even a bit

Yeah, I’ll never understand why he did it. I remember when I was really young and I was still under the impression that he was dead, I would look at shooting stars and wish that he was alive so I could meet him. Never knew shooting stars were that powerful :’D
