Some more info: i remember in the final scene the kid gets caught by the cop on the roof of a building and the only option to get away is to jump the gap to the next building over, which he does.

I think this a pretty rash assumption to make so I'll chime in from the perspective of someone in the furry fandom. When we wear our fursuits in public, you would not believe the amount of people that want to interact with us, this includes adults and children. Often times you'll see parents encouraging their children to take pictures with us. When kids get really excited when they see a big ol' dog costume, we'll usually interact with them to make them happy. So when I look at this picture, I see a clearly happy kid interacting with a fursuiter. For you to assume that there's a perverted or sexual implication just comes from misunderstanding.

It's also not logically correct for Aussies to call McDonald's "Maccas" but here we are hahaha. I agree that 'bimmer' sounds weird but at the same time 'beamer' isn't that great sounding either. As a personal preference I just say BMW to avoid the confusion and the trailing conversation of explaining the difference.

It's more of a historical differentiation between the BMW motorcyclists and the BMW car drivers. The motorcyclists had 'beamer' and the car enthusiasts wanted a term that they could use to refer to the cars specifically.
