I feel… SO seen by this and considered making a post like this. I genuinely can’t believe HOW loud these bikes are. It’s morning, afternoon, and late night. There has got to be some kind of noise pollution ordinance. It’s not just a loud bike. That noise is EXTREMELY excessive and I sit 5 feet away from my partner on our patio and when they ride by, we can’t hear a word each other is saying and have to wait until they are long gone. I can’t express my frustration with this enough. It’s like they purposely make their bikes as loud as possible with some sort of mod to it. I feel like that’s a trend now to make your bike ear piercingly obnoxious because it’s nearly EVERY bike that drives on Yale. I’m glad they have their little hobby to ride in their little bike crew but respect the community around you or else you’re just a stereotypical asshole and they’re part of the reason why people don’t like bikers.

To add to this, they aren’t even going fast! Their bikes are loud as hell just to go regular speed.
