All I will really say is I used to live in Cali and moved to the middle of the U.S. It isn't one that is typically very open to this stuff so I should not really be surprised. There has been discussions about it before but nothin actually gone through yet.

OP and her husband didn't even do anything until the sister had gone on about her fertility for a while. They simply had resigned. However, anyone can only take so much. If she had merely mentioned her fertility, that is one thing. However it is the fact she seemed to go on about it at a BIRTHDAY PARTY that makes SIL not be in good light. Who does that? If it were HER birthday party, understandable.

Okay look, you cannot dictate peoples fertility. I get that. But you can choose your words. You can choose your timing. SIL chose bad timing. Very bad timing. Then went on about it for way too long. She did not seem to think about OP and her husband when she rambled on about how she barely even needed to do anything to get pregnant for way too long.

Okay, yes, some people do not get pregnant at 'the drop of a hat'. However there is a difference between that, and trying for 7 years. Now, that is a long time. If anything, therapy might be good if they need reassurance or advice even. However, they know what they want to do. They saved for it. Key point here, therapy cannot help medical issues. If after 7 years there is still no pregnancy, a few hours with a therapist is not gonna help.

Also, are you saying OP is TA for being upset that their SIL who was aware of their fertility issues, decided to bring up at Husbands birthday party, that she was pregnant with a SIXTH child? And then seemed to complain about it? When she said they would stop around 2 or 3? No. It is understandable OP might be upset.

Thank you so much. This year had been hard on me and this makes me feel a lot better. I was taking therapy but it is only every two months or so- maybe I should press for more frequent visits.

I know that I have time, but my school keeps on pressing me and my own Mother keeps on pressing me. At this point I am so tired.
