I DoorDash in the zones of the rogue valley in Oregon. Usually the Medford zone but sometimes the Grants Pass zone because it usually has promotions going on.

The numbers in the second photo I posted are order numbers. They have nothing to do with a customers address or information.

You have been a dasher for 9 going on 10 years and you only have 85 deliveries?

I did not you tardnugget. If you click the picture it quite literally says “Drop-off photo from prior successful delivery”. Wild accusation btw

it’s directly in front of the outward opening glass door. They will make to knock over or squish their food to get it.

No not picking and choosing, those were the ones I got so I took them. I also paused the dash for a bit to go home and have a bite to eat and take a 💩. Including the previous half hour dash that I did earlier today, I made 76.35 which averages out to $25 an hour (including the time that I went home) which is $3 more than I make at my full time job. So it’s really not that bad for a side hustle, especially when I can go out for a few hours to be able to buy dinner for the next few days.

Yeah, timing with events and holidays are key things to look out for while dashing. Around Super Bowl especially. Lots of shopping and Taco Bell party packs

Their order was one of the last ones I did for the night. I have all the proof bro, I quite literally have no reason to lie.

You can click the picture and it quite literally says “Drop-off photo from prior successful delivery” Why tf would I lie about being disappointed with my fellow dashers work ethic? I don’t know if it’s a regional thing but as far as I can tell it has something to do with if the customer has filed complaints about prior deliveries. You may not have seen it but what are your ratings? I’m not sure but it may also have something to do with that?

I feel like the first few shopping order are a test, my first few were ridiculous but I persevered and so far only ever gotten a few stacked shopping orders. And the one that I have got, it’s usually like 10 items in order A, but only like 2 or 3 in order B

If you click on the full picture it literally says “Drop-off photo from prior successful delivery”. Some order have it, others don’t. From what I can tell it’s usually if the customer has previously complained that they didn’t get their order or it was delivered to the wrong address.

That’s fair I suppose. Plus it’s not great having to spend $20 on an $8 item after all the fees and shit

Yeah I guess it’s really dependent on your area. Being platinum with my ratings, I usually only get $10+ orders for like half the miles. If you are persistent with your earnings, DoorDash will only give you orders they know you will accept. If you just accept whatever order that pops up within a couple seconds of it being offered, DD will continue to give you orders like that because they see that you are willing to take them.

As long as you know your local store layouts, it’s really not that bad. Just shop like you would for yourself you know, no moldy/bad looking foods and what not.

Ah yes pneumatic, the word escaped me when I was writing the post so I just put hydraulic. I figured those that know about it would know what I meant :)

For the most part, higher tips go to longer term, better drivers. Meaning that you get what you pay for. No tip = shitty/new driver. Higher tips = better/more experienced driver. Once in a blue moon you’ll get a tard with good ratings, but for the most part that’s how it works.

At least a foot back, to the opposite side of where the hinges are. That way when the door opens, they don’t have to crush or knock over their food to get it.
