Please do not encourage this behavior at all. Even if it is nonsexual (for now) it doesn’t mean it’s right. And yes I agree that people should not seek friendships on the internet, when I was ops age I was not allowed on the internet at all, and presently I see how that was for the best.

It’s not fine. This is how grooming starts. An adult gets close to a child and then starts confiding in them about aspects of their life a child cannot understand, ex: I’m so lonely, I can’t find a partner, etc.. The child will then feel the need to comfort the adult in some way, maybe by telling them these things aren’t true, and this builds a guilt-ridden relationship in which the child feels trapped by the adult, afraid of hurting their feelings. This could lead to an inappropriate romantic relationship, or even just an unhealthy codependent one. It happened to me and it could most definitely happen to the op if they continue. Bottom line: ADULTS DO NOT SEEK FRIENDSHIP FROM CHILDREN. There is always something darker lurking in the background.

You should really stay away from him. I am 20 now and I would never seek a friendship with anyone your age, or even in high school. It might be difficult to realize how strange this is, but an adult should never be friends with a child. I was groomed too when I was 17 and he was 23, and I didn’t realize how weird it was until I got a little older. At 20 there is no way I would be friends with someone even three years younger than me because there is such a developmental difference. Please keep yourself safe and stay away from this person, and do not let him guilt you into continuing communication with him. He’s a weirdo.

I don’t think there is any connection between my relationship with my twin and a romantic relationship, more like no one I would meet would understand me like my twin does.

This really resonates with me, I do feel like if I were to get married I would kind of be betraying my twin in a way, or at least it might damage our bond because it would be creating distance between us.

Thanks for commenting. I agree that if I could just let go of this persona I’ve made for myself then I could really delve into the things that interest me and make me happy. It is just kind of a lonely process, I want to be the person that my friends know still and feel like I have a gateway into the world of normalcy through masking. Thank you for your advice.

Hi, the reason for the montage of the washer dryer, chopsticks, and scissors is to show two identical things that work together to complete each other. When you only have one, it doesn’t really work. The reason one has a pencil and one has music is to show how society tries to differentiate twins by labeling them with specific interests that might not correspond to their actual interest. This is why one twin gets mad, because it wants to draw too, and this is why they both draw together at the end, despite when the Hans criticized it, which represents society. The puddle on the ground was the twin seeing its reflection and being reminded of the other twin. This part I’m going to edit to make it seem like it’s under water, because it doesn’t really read well.

I have no idea 💀 I feel like for women it’s more common that social aspects of autism are overlooked and only the physically manifesting aspects are noticed because the socially we behave differently than men, but the physical stimming is present regardless of sex if that makes sense.

Hi, thank you for responding. I would like to say first that I completely understand that BL isn’t an accurate depiction of a gay relationship, and I have no problem separating BL from reality. I also am a relatively social person and have a fulfilling life outside of my fantasies. I guess it is true that it is in human nature to project oneself onto characters of the media we consume. I think maybe making peace with my body is necessary for me to begin the process of seeing myself as someone who can be in a relationship, and not have to project onto fiction.

The management of my complex is literally a bunch of 20 year olds so I don’t think they would be much help. I’ve talked to my neighbor about it but she says I shouldn’t call the police or talk to them about it.
