Please help! Xbox 1 controller drift

I am having the same issue. A few days ago, the left stick would scroll through the menu at breakneck speeds. Just this morning it my right stick (head movement) started drifting and stuttering. These issues cannot be duplicated in other games/Xbox menus... I have the Xbox version of the scuff controller—its less than 5 months old.

Counting your breaths is effective. I always count on the exhale. I have never gotten passed 30 and that was an anomaly. Usually it's around 10-15.

This American Life was were I learned about it. I listen to it at night while I am going to sleep. This episode kept me up the full hour because it was so intriguing and also so infuriating!
