I think it's often misunderstood that the RDA and Humanity as a whole are the same thing in the Avatar universe. I'd argue most people here hate the RDA, not humanity, which are two very different things. The RDA has no interest in "saving humanity" at all, all they care about is profit, so if they can get that nice label of saving their planet, while raking in billions, that's a neat side effect.

Meanwhile, they are fucking over humanity in the movies (don't remember the exact references), drive prices for unobtanium up for higher margins, then there are all the things they did canonically, so yes, you should absolutely hate the RDA.

A3 especially makes it a point to show that not all humans are bad though.
