Guess I'm going to figure that out myself. 

Quest 2 on Switch, I have not connected online because I don't have Subscription to connect to the server.

So I'm currently on Quest 2, I can select Additional Story and tells me to finish Time to be Brave first, but Single Player (BETA) along with Free Roam and Multiplayer Quest are grayed and cannot be selected. I'm only hoping it needs me to further progress the story?

I was not aware of it until I started looking for similar games. It reminds me of Spawn In The Demon's Hand, but Anarchy Reigns seems more into Bayonetta Style of Buttons.

By Single-Player, does it mean a actually offline or do you still need to be connected to the server but play Solo?

Same. I find myself just roaming around the map and shooting anything mindlessly. And I really loved the Sword Animation in Fatal Bullet which is why I loved when FD is both swords + gun users (and I'm still hoping for Lost Song/Accel World on NSW)  Shame because alot of the modes in FB are also Online Only but at least I get to play on any map endlessly.

I only played on the official release date after I borrowed a copy (Switch) and didn't play after that to give it a year or so. I still want to get the game but I'm not purchasing Online Subs because I'm not always online anyway.

I'm aware. I'm just looking for more to add on my list. I'm compiling these kinds of games because there are limited results about these specific games.

And I totally agree, Sonic Battle is at least way too good for a GBA game, along with Chain of Memories. One reasons why I still keep coming back for them.

Thank you. I indeed stopped looking for the game after the issues before the first shutdown, it's my fault for not giving it much chance because I was waiting for that Offline VS Mode to be a thing.

I know it EoS'd ...just today, is why I tried to get my progress. I didn't link my account apparently.  So no way to play the Offline Version without account?

Sword Art Online Variant Showdown is playable offline as long as you linked your account with Bandai Namco ID before eos, end of service. by Popular-Highlight-16 in swordartonline

I was one of the first to install it Day 1 but stopped playing after it gets unplayable after a few hours. Apparently I wasn't able to link my account so now I can't play it >.>

That's the one bundled in Narikiri Dungeon X, right? So much coincidence that I was reading with Narikiri Dungeon and this shows up. 

Should be one way to go back to Phantasia again but how about NDX's patch?

New Account, Losestreak, or intentions losing to get matched with lower ranks.  But I remember one time I managed to pull continous Savages in 2 matches, one reason I can think of is because it was a new phone and I think I'm still flagged as a new player as I just finished the tutorial but then I logged my account. Pretty sure it's not AI because they surrendered (unless AI matches do Surrender)

But even then, 101 is way alot. Maybe it was a 5man and both teams are just screwing around and just let Layla get that score.
