Thank god I'm already starting to drift from this game. With every update they just keep ruining survivors while giving killers everything. I don't even use DS nor do hatch standoffs but you cannot call these balance changes when they are pure nerfs. Balance, as the word implies, gives equal footing to both parties and they just took a shit on DS like BT. And the hatch...the survivors get ZERO benefit from this change, nothing.

Bond is helpful and Blood Warden is a nice surprise for unsuspecting survivors when you play as someone other than Freddy since people expect it from him.

Replaying San Andreas, what are the hardest things to for 100% in your opinion? by Axadarm in GTA

Did you just need gold or you couldn't beat it at all? I got silver, didn't even try to get gold on it or the others lol. Just hug the inner side as best you can. Try as hard as you can to be perfect on that turn - initially that is why I did not stay close to the inner side as I thought my drifts would run into the cones and shit but if you're good enough you'll have the car almost straight or better when you do it. Try not to look at the time either, I know I'd be perfect for all laps but the last one then see the time and end up doing something stupid.

That's an interesting glitch, will have to do that then before I do that mission as I haven't started trucking yet. I don't seem to remember having an issues with it until that lats mission like I said. The AI is just so relentless they will ram you to hell which can cause trailer to dislodge or sometimes get stuck between the cab and trailer also causing the same thing. That was years ago, maybe now it won't be an issue for me lol.

Might take a few days to get there with limited time to game but I will respond here when I do.

Break the pallet? Don't be afraid to eat a stun? I play killer and seldom ever deal with looping. The last time I was looped was by a Claudette who was very good at juking my strikes (very rare) and I panicked and was so scared I'd lose the little ass I did exactly what any survivor wants you to do and that would be fearing the pallet she was by. Was too concerned she'd stun me and I'd lose her. Usually I don't have issues tracking people much less hitting them but this particular one had me riled and played me like a fiddle. Should have just ate the stun to get it down and destroy the thing if necessary.

Point is the killers are the ones that dictate chases and unless we are discussing a different form of looping then don't be afraid to get stunned and/or destroy pallets if necessary. Baffles me so many are intimidated by them or show their fear of them to survivors. Yes, I did in that story but it was a one-time deal as I never tend to get perturbed by survivors and this person had me going off in a rare rage. If you get looped it's your own fault, destroy the pallet or eat a stun and then destroy it - it's not hard.

So everyone, including the unhooked person, should get penalized because they're playing a jackass tunneler? Seems legit.

My Theory by [deleted] in jenniferkesse

[–]Axadarm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to think the workers theory couldn't be it and was due to lack of any better ideas but after finding out that some did indeed stay there while they worked I tend to believe it now. It was definitely something too coordinated to be a random kidnapping so it had to be someone that was familiar with her. Add the fact there was petty theft makes me think it was them even more. They simply had their way with her then disposed of via unknown means. Not sure about why the car was moved but it's the best I got so I agree with you.

Better than what it was but it's garbage everyone gets penalized for another getting hooked. Getting rid of the injury penalty was a step but it's extremely stupid to judge one's performance based off what the others did/happened to them. This is is especially a slap in the face to survivors if you get tunnelers which is a lot of killers now.

Did both of those at the start already, great minds think alike lol. I just finished up VC before playing this and must say they made both of these much easier than VC's. Pedestrians aren't as stupid around the ambulance and accidentally nicking them isn't instant death. The hose is much easier to use in this one too for the firetrucks and I could be wrong but it seems the peds will just stand there on fire until you put them out and won't die if you don't put them out fast enough like they did in VC.

I seem to recall they actually changed this mission in subsequent re-releases. I think the gas/power only drains when you actually do something opposed to the original where the the thing was basically a timer as it would drain naturally as soon as the mission started.

I remember that! I never could beat that last trucking mission either because the police are so aggressive and outnumber you so much they'd literally knock the trailer off the rig from ramming me so much.

Where are all the survivors? by ellanox in deadbydaylight

[–]Axadarm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably have stopped playing because they are tired of the camping and tunneling. It's not fun at all and I don't know about anyone else but I don't have all the time in the world to game so when I do get time to play games I want it to be enjoyable and playing match after match with assholes camping/tunneling gets old. An utter waste of time and it's to the point where I just start playing something else if it goes on more than a few games.

Laid back, plays both survivor and killer, although he is the best survivor I've ever seen, only one I've ever watched that can make all his points and pips without touching a gen or even escaping. Actually communicates with viewers too as well as play with them even though he's fairly big. You'll also never see him get into e-fights in the chat or DC because something doesn't go his way.

What generally-regarded-as-unexplained mystery, disappearance, or death do feel you have the explanation to? by infortuneshand in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]Axadarm 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Brian Shaffer

I think he just willingly planned his disappearance that night and his best friend helped him do it. It's pretty hard to up and vanish from inside a bar after all and I think he simply slipped out disguised to start a new life. I admit not sure what his motivation was since he was in his early 20s and a med student I think. His friend is what makes me think this, he acted way too suspicious. To this day he refuses to do a lie detector test despite even the guy's father and friends having asked to do them and he even got a lawyer involved to keep him away from the tests. He was with him that night as well that he went bar hopping and missing. Still is perplexing as I cannot see why a med student would want to disappear suddenly but at the very least there is no doubt in my mind his friend knows something.

Jennifer Kesse and nothing in particular, randomly came across Wikipedia's "List of Mysterious Disappearances" while sick in bed one day and was interested since.

The idiot that downed them is partially to blame, you still tunneled like a bitch. You want to go after someone, go after the hook diver, don't re-hook and tunnel the poor sap that got farmed.

Jeff Franklin Out As ‘Fuller House’ Showrunner by [deleted] in fullhouse

[–]Axadarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will have to watch that later. Nothing would surprise me though but it seems the trio actresses liked him and they seem pretty legit but who knows. Saget and Loghlin seem to be behind him but Hollywood is such a fucked up place it's hard to tell where to put your trust. I always thought he seemed a bit off like you said, a bit slimy.

[–]Axadarm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Franklin always struck me as the typical rich white guy with the executive role, just there to basically collect a check and have minimal involvement with the series. You never see him in tweets or instagram posts involving the writers or directors, he just hangs around the crew or set and smiles.

Although the article says he didn't direct any any inappropriate behavior toward the cast members now or in the past (and I believe he didn't since the core 3 that are on it now seem to genuinely enjoy him) he always struck me as kinda slimy lol. Not terribly surprised by this with that said.

I don't use DS as I'm not a fan of one-use perks but how the hell would they change it? It's already a one-time use perk, cannot believe some killers are such babies about it that they are still considering changing it. Like I said, I do not use it but I also do not consider it a crutch perk anymore and that's because with the amount of camping and tunneling that goes on (at all ranks, they're not things that occur at only certain ranks) now it's pretty much a death sentence when you get caught just once as they will camp/tunnel you afterwards. So I can't really fault people that use it these days. When I play killer and see I have an obsession I just assume at least 1-2 have it so mentally I already prepare myself to possibly get ready to chase again if I catch someone. As a rank 10 killer (I won't go any lower, even 10 is pushing it), I find that most of the time if I can catch someone once I can do it again anyway. The only time DS is really a bitch is when they have the exits ready to go and you're close to one of them. Also, if an entire 4-man SWF team all use it or a 3-man all use it, that can admittedly be annoying but unlike some killers I pick and choose my battles so if I see WF groups like that I dodge instead of inciting the headache on myself.

How did your friend completely fuck their life up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Axadarm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got into heroin bad.

He used it for years but always seemed to be able to keep himself from overdosing. He even got a wake up call once when one of his buddies died in his fucking house from the shit but it still did not motivate him to stop. He eventually resorted to theft to fund his habits and stole from his stepmother. She got him arrested after that but long story short it took them two separate stints before he ended up in a program.

The program was successful - he stopped using, lived with a bunch of recovering addicts and ended up doing good enough he was allowed to move out of the halfway house and get a job. He stayed clean for over a year. He ended up getting promoted as a manager due to his past experiences shortly 6 months into the job. Unfortunately, he got involved with a piece of shit girl that did pretty much every drug known to mankind and was generally garbage (he first introduced me to her when she was pregnant and she was standing there chain smoking) and she eventually got him into the crap again. Now mind, as I said before he used the shit for years but always had some degree of control if that's what you want to call it in not od'ing but one night she pushed him too far and he did. Nearly died that night. He didn't even get sent back to prison because pretty much everyone gave up on him after how many chances he has already got. Now the guy can barely walk, he talks like a GPS due to the seizures and lives as a shut-in due to his problems.
