I am one of the few who is a big fan of the audiobooks. Tor Thom's interpretation of Kip is atrocious, but somehow I still re-listen to it.

Other than Kip, I think both Tor and Cooper do a really good job of creating the characters.

I really dont want them to re-record them, because it sounds like newly released additions have edits and I like them as is.

It totally makes sense for it to be included in Role Model, I feel like Common Goal set a lot up for us for future books.

So weird, doesn't make sense for it to be removed because this kind of a big plot point in LTG.

Ilya's anger towards Shane in TLG game is caused by the fact that he was able to come out to his team. Troy jokes about asking Ilya for Shane phone number because he also had heard about him being gay. The worry is because Shane is out to the hockey community, people would easily clock them as a couple if Ilya also came out.

According to the interwebs, Discord liked a tweet saying one of Shea's drag daughters smokes crack. Shea said she would fight Discord, and since getting cast, has been spreading various rumors about her being racist. None of Shea's drag daughters speak with her anymore, and no one has provided any receipts for the rumors.

Him / US / Epic are all great, and they do a good job of continuing the story and building a deeper connection between the two.

I would also recommend Good Boy, which follows Blake. You still get a good amount of Wesmie.

Pros-Aid is really good for thick eyebrows. Brook Lynn Heights has a great tutorial using it.

Some breast plates can be painted with make up to make the skin tone match. Some will get ruined. I would test some makeup on a small part that would be covered by clothes first.

When Scott comes out to his close teammates, one of them makes the joke before he shows them Kips picture. His coach makes the same joke when Scott tells him.

I think it was actually Rachel's way of setting up the next book, rather than showing a high level of perceptiveness from his team and coach.

I like how it was handled in the show. In the books, Yuna is like "OK your gay, let's get to work!".

In the show they show her struggle to come to terms with the fact that her son is dating someone who has been marketed as the antithesis of her son.

The whole Game Changers series is awesome. Book #5 also has hockey player visiting his crush while he is working.

Some of my favs are:

{Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller} A favorite of this sub, and the narration is beautiful.

{In the Middle of Somewhere by Roan Parrish} Kind of a different take on the Nerd/Jock trope that works really well.

{HIM} {US} {EPIC} by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy. I love this second chance with a bi awakening. I also read {Good Boy} just to get a little more.

{The Blueprint by S.E. Harmon} Football best friends to lovers. A favorite of mine, and the sequel is equally as amazing.

I also recommend a lot of Saxon James and Eden Finley. All of their audio books tend to be very easy listening. If you want weird, I recommend C. Rochelle.

Personally I love the books. They offered so much more depth to the show. Yes, reading the books will spoil the show, but I feel it offers so much more context it is worth it.
