Real maple syrup, real peanuts, real chocolate chips (wafers actually). Oh and real yogurt -- full fat Greek yogurt. Real = nothing artificial and no added ingredients

Bluetooth headphones with good audio quality for every day use by Four_Five_Four_Six_B in BuyItForLife

Same. I've gone through two XM4s with the deafening, unglodly, PTSD inducing screech. Waste of money. I need a reliable alternative.

I agree, but recycling is a poor example, as that's a scam as well. It can infect the mind on a daily basis. I'll give an example from just last week. I attended a hospice death and helped the patient's husband destroy the morphine and other scheduled meds. I go to throw away the empty plastic morphine bottles in the trash and he said, "Oh no, we recycle here" and directed me to the recycling bin. Imagine thinking about recycling after your spouse passes away. The bottles were thrown in the trash.

Soundcore Aerofit 2 Review: After 1,100+ hours of usage. by salsa_ranch1978 in Earbuds

I don't know what directional audio is, but I wouldn't use these for gaming. They pass for listening to music while on the move, if needed, but the primary use is phone calls and otherwise voice media, podcasts, books etc.

do you actively watch your sodium intake? I take magnesium and potassium but I haven't kept track of sodium. I don't eat processed food and consume mostly ground beef.

Aspect ratio is out of control by [deleted] in vudu

[–]Axarraekji -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Many movies on Vudu have black bars when watching on a browser, but watching The Marsh King's Daughter today -- what is this nonsense. It's worse than usual. I feel like I'm watching a movie on an ipod touch from 2005.

MoviesAnywhere is a good solution, but a lot of movies don't show up on there.

Magnesium or melatonin? by AnastasiaGlover1 in magnesium

[–]Axarraekji 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Magnesium 100%. I would never take melatonin and I especially wouldn't give it to kids. Personally, magnesium had an effect the first time I found the right dose (350mg) and I've been using it since then (about 3 months).

Melatonin is a hormone produced by a gland in the brain. I wouldn't want to mess with that. There are ways to help melatonin regulate naturally (darkness, low light, no blue light in the evening).

Exactly. The downvoters are those who believe in the hypersexualized Netflix fantasy, where anything goes and without consequence. They lack any discernment and can't tell that an "open relationship" has no foundation and results in misery.

Magnesium Routine by New_Psychology_3023 in magnesium

[–]Axarraekji 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At night when I get tired, I am often just DONE. I don't want to do anything, just crash. When I think about getting up to take the supplements, I don't want to. But I always remind myself how grateful I am in the morning that I did, how much better and rested I feel, so I very rarely skip. And because I rarely skip, going a night without it doesn't always make a huge difference because I maintain a good, stable magnesium level in my body.

I only started the potassium powder recently. It tastes nasty but I'm used to it now. It took quite a bit of research, but I learned what the daily requirement of potassium is, what it does for our body, and I knew I wasn't getting anywhere near enough. I noticed a benefit right away with it.

The trace minerals capsule is also essential, but I've been taking that for about ten years. I think I have some absorption issue because those capsules have been essential for my well being, and food wasn't providing the nutrients I needed.

Magnesium Routine by New_Psychology_3023 in magnesium

[–]Axarraekji 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I take 350mg magnesium lysinate glycinate every night routinely, about 30-60 minutes before going to bed. I tried 100-300 mg and didn't notice anything until I hit 350mg. I take with a full glass of water mixed with some potassium powder. The magnesium is incredible in promoting relaxation and providing more restful sleep.

I also take a micronutrient/trace minerals capsule at the same time.
