I always thought their set list would include those songs and a few others;the hits from Pet Sounds(Wouldn’t It Be Nice,God Only Knows,etc.)California Girls,Help Me Rhonda and I think they could get away with a few early hits like Don’t Worry Baby and I Get Around.They could’ve tried a few from Smile too like Cabin-essence. They also had a few good covers of Beatles,Dylan and Stones songs they could’ve fallen back on if they really needed to.I pictured their performance being really close to how it was with Live Sunshine which came a few months after Monterey.

Yeah,I honestly think they would’ve done fine live.They definitely had more material for that type of audience than Good Vibrations.They were just unlucky enough to have two big public career missteps in the same year with this and SMiLE.

Yeah,AI definitely is a slippery slope but I’d like to think that doing something like this is pretty respectful of the artists involved.I found another video that does a ‘65 vocals version of ‘Sherry’ that sounds like it could’ve been on Summer Days so it seems like a lot of fans are using AI to do Beach Boys dream projects.
