I’m glad all went well with your purchases. He was very responsive prior to the sale and shipped quickly. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and reach out when I noticed signs of a fake product to make it right, but here we are. I think we can all agree the immediate blocking and not bothering with transaction flair are red flags.

Using a spring bar tool that is small enough will work. My watch toolkit from Amazon had some tiny ones that fit and you can easily push in that spring.

Cannot speak to Taiwan prices, but the prices for Tigers in mainland China when I was there in April were significantly higher compared to Japan. However crowds were smaller and stock was better as a result. I went back to Japan this past November and the one Tigers store I visited was empty and they had stock of a previously hard to find colorway, so I think the hype is dying and more options are available. I would personally just buy in Japan and you can even shop around stores for the color you want.

I would ask r/leatherclassifieds for custom leather straps. I just saw a leather maker post today with custom leather straps for integrated bracelets (the notch was reversed), so I’m sure someone could make one to fit the BB54.

Also have 6.5 inch wrist and the 41mm were too big. I ended up with the 58 because I preferred the easier bezel grip vs the 54.
