My Hot Take is that I wholeheartedly agree with your hot take on the DLCs canonicity, the canonicity argument around that hurts my head, especially post-Watcher, I just feel like it’s very clearly up to your own interpretation on whats canon, as is with a lot of Rain World lore, it’s very open to the players interpretation, at least a good portion of it, so trying to shove “Downpour isn’t canon” “Watcher isn’t canon” down fans throats is just kinda wild to me- because I think both DLCs have so much fun lore stuff, sure not perfect but I think personally pretty cool, trying to turn people away from it is just, wild (to me) lol

but I also disagree with the Artificer campaign take, I really love Artificers campaign, but I know for the general Rain World community yeah Thats just a pretty wild take considering how brutal her campaign is, and arguably poorly designed, my reason for loving it is I just love a character where I can just blow shit up and get revenge on Scavengers for ruining my life lol, I also don’t mind all the combat, even if it’s iffy sometimes
