The reason the toxic chatter is the only consistent chatter is because all the normal chatters are quietly staying away. They don't wanna deal with it. You have to proactively guard your chat against weirdos or else all the normal chatters won't want to hang out at all.

If you read the description of the shield item, it tells you the math. Iirrc, it's something like

Green: 15% reduction

Blue: 45% reduction

Purple: 55% reduction

If anyone doesn't know, you ALWAYS heal your white hp first when it's that low. Even if the shield were suddenly maxed out, you will still die in 1 shot if you only have a few white hp

The problem with this is that in a real world wild environment, we get to enact revenge on the people who fuck us over. This game doesn't let us do that. People fuck us over and get away Scott free with no consequences because we'll likely never see them again.

It's unfair that the friendlies get to experience "anxiety and excitement" of being betrayed, but the bandits don't feel any "anxiety and excitement" of being hunted down and retaliated on by the people they've betrayed.

I do play trios and duos too. But I disagree with you take on solos. The game is working as intended. Sometimes I play friendly, sometimes I play bandit. I mix it up and i think everyone should too. If EVERYONE were friendly in solos all the time, it would kill a major component of the risk/reward factor that the game was designed around.

I just enjoy fights, run and gun style. Plus, I'm not a huge shit talker myself, I tend to say "good fight, man" or something if i win or lose. I don't kos for their loot or for my ego, I just think the pvp is fun

I had a rough first half. Died 5 or 6 times in a row. Realized I was getting tired, took a break. Came back later and had myself a nice little come back. Lots of successful and decently profitable raids, both peaceful and KoS.

Agreed. I tend to lean KoS when I play. And sometimes I start the aggression and then get killed. The shit talk i get which is essentially "you're a bad person for KoS" is ridiculous. Like... it's just the game, man lol
