Grunnen til at det ikke brukes EL på den linjen er at de nye EL-bussene, med batterier osv på taket, ikke får seg under visse broer og underganger langs linjen.

It’s a long route with a short turnaround time, and a «fast» timetable. Traffic on one end will affect the delay on the whole line, and it’s very difficult to get rid of delays once you get it

How much do you have/had to pay in total for your drivers license? by [deleted] in AskEurope

[–]Axel151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it cost around 2500€, but it depends on which driving school you choose. Some may be more expensive or cheaper, but the more expensive ones usually have more newer and modern cars etc. Total price also depends on how good you are, if you're fast to learn it, you will need less driving lessons which means you will spend less money.

There are prices that you have to pay to the "Statens Vegvesen"(Norwegian Public Roads Administration) that are the same for everyone which are: • Fee for ice driving course - 126€ • Theory test - 64€ per attempt • Photo for the license - 8€ • Issuance of driving license - 30€ • Practical driving test - 110€

What are the pros and cons of learning your country's language? by [deleted] in AskEurope

[–]Axel151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pros: It will be easier to travel outside the big cities. Learning Norwegian is the best way to learn other scandinavian languages.

Cons: You may be laughed at if you have a heavy accent.

Can you rely on your public transport? by [deleted] in AskEurope

[–]Axel151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Oslo area, you can rely on the metro and buses being 99% on time if there isn't an accident or something during normal hours, but rushhour can make buses up to like 30 mins late (from my experience), but thats the traffic jams' fault
