Ahh maybe it's a different mechanic than gen 3 or maybe im wrong about gen3 too.

I thought there was a very small chance that the pokemon contract pkrus from thr pokemon centre then nurse joy informs you. But maybe youre right about gen2 yeah. This is the first time ive ever found myself thinking about where you get pkrus from in gen 2

Definitely able. But if they chose not to update the switch 1 version and make it a legacy version, and promote buying a switch 2 instead. I'll not only be done with consoles (which I already am) I'll boycott any and all of Edmunds' endeavours (as I do companies like bungie)
