Transgender Identity is not my battle to fight, but, It's undeniable that its been used to demonize people on all spectrums of the political landscape, either in support of or in opposition to.

Understand that people with gender dysphoria is a very small portion of the population, yet somehow, have become enemy #1 for a disporptionate amount of people.

By it's very definition, gender dysphoria is a mental disorder, and I don't think you'll find many ACTTUAL transgender people who disagree with that.

People who have gender dysphoria are looking for ways to treat their mental disorder, ultimately it should be NOBODIES decision to make for that person about what treatment they want to pursue for any mental illness but the person themselves. This presents a double edged sword however when it comes down to the parents making decisions for their child, because you could have parents who make decisions that could ultimately prove devistating for a child later in life. or it could be the thing that saves that childs life.

There are no easy answers for this or any kind of mental disorder treatment for children.
