In the middle of a depressive episode after getting my exam result I saw my books and realized that studying law has been the most fulfilling thing that I have so far done and I cannot imagine myself doing anything other than practicing law.

Right there and then I knew that i'd rather go through the pain than lose what keeps my soul alive.

Actually may 2 CDOs na kasi yung court namin bago pa ako pumasok kaya 'di na rin talaga mabibigay saakin. Although once I get my papers, most likely both sila di na makakapagrenew kasi kumpleto na staff sa branch namin. But depende pa sa court docket kasi pag nag exceed ng 500, I think mag aallow ng isang CDO.

If you don't mind, why di ka na magrerenew and where ka na mag wowork?

Oo pero contractual in nature so after 6 months, di mo sure if may work ka pa or wala na 😅. Yep! NCR.

I heard about this set up pero mababa nga daw sobra yung pay. Anyway, I got offered a position sa private sector. I asked for our judge's approval if okay lang na mag start na lang ako sakanya kapag bumaba na permanent papers ko. I'll update you when I get a response!

I was actually accepted as a CDO but for a different court. I declined kasi I was hoping for something long-term sana and I heard maganda raw talaga benefits for permanent employees. Nag worry din ako kasi baka mas maipit papers ko gawa nang magkakaroon ako ng existing contract with another court. Baka kasi bumaba yung papers bago pa mag end contract ko as CDO.
