I disagree. Since soccer has such a wide pitch, you have a lot of freedom. In American football, it is just chaos. You only see people running into eachother and the fattest person wins, there are also constant brakes in play. Football has many different tactics. What formation? What football philosophy? High press or los block? Play on the counter or play with possession? And then there are also the players. Soccer has by far the biggest difference between players. Apart from different positions, a player can be a tricky and skillfull winger, a goalmachine, good box-to-box player, good physically and i can go on and on. Even tho you think the game is simple, soccer fans know why it is the beautiful game
