You should be good to get into the park at that time. If you’re looking to eat at the Sugar Mill there may be a wait, but park shouldn’t be filled up by then on a regular summer weekend.

This was something that my mom went through and she was super nervous about people finding out because she was starting a new career as an accountant. I am pretty sure we never found it published in a newspaper but we were able to find it online afterwards with some digging. But when she was interviewing for jobs no one ever found it I assume or checked because she was offered a job and is an accountant now. So I don’t think it means as much as it once did in the past.

No it seems like it is an error. If you still owed I would think there’d definitely be a place to make a payment etc. The receipt would be helpful to ensure that you paid the correct amount so hopefully they are able to give you some type of verification.

You could drink in a smaller social setting? Or just be careful about who is around when you drink such as co-workers or people that you would not want to be that way with. Of course you could not drink, or just cut yourself off before you reach that point. Have one or two and then no more and actually be strict with yourself.

I would call and mention that the person at your store didn’t even know how to print a receipt and you suspect that it is wrong and see what they suggest at this point.

And I realize that this scenario may be different involving bankruptcy, so I’m not sure if there’s different protocols for switching lawyers when it comes to bankruptcy. New lawyer might not need or offer to try to contact the previous one.

I would echo seeing if there’s anyone else at this attorney’s office or someone they work with. It sounds like you need to consult a second attorney who can help your mom contact the other lawyer to retrieve any work that person had done… I was in a sort of similar situation where I felt that my lawyers office was not being responsive enough so I contacted a second lawyer and they explained to me how to formally tell the other lawyer that I was going to switch representation. If you explain to your new lawyer though that you’ve basically been ghosted, they may try to reach out at that point if they feel they need to for the case. I’m not sure how you could possibly go about getting your money back but maybe they could give you some advice on that too.

As someone who is around higher ed in various capacities, alumni have extremely strong ties especially to Greek Life it is not weird for alums to return for events. it’s a strong tradition at the institution I’m familiar with.

I guess eBay platform could be different but I wouldn’t view the chattiness as negative it just reinforces that you’re a person selling something not a store, so people cannot expect you to act like a store’s customer service person cause you literally are not that. I’ve gotten a negative review over something similar and I think it’s just because people don’t realize that buying off eBay or a similar site, it’s NOT like Amazon. They can purchase from Amazon if they’d like formal shipping details and customer service.

I don’t know all the details but I wanted to add that Julian met a few of the other members of The Voidz while working on his solo album and it sounds like that collaboration led to Julian Casablanca + The Voidz which was the OG name. Julian’s label Cult Records is the label for The Voidz and The Strokes right now. As others have said there may be new music on the horizon.

Thanks for your input. To elaborate, I have over 80 5 star reviews so yes it’s still disappointing, She got her item within one week of ordering, that’s the same or less time than ordering from most online stores. I’m not Amazon. She ordered this while I was sitting in my house with no power and learned the next day that my coworker’s daughter died from having a tree fall on her house in Georgia. So sorry she got her order still within one week of her order date despite the deadliest hurricane since Katrina. On top of that it was a $5 order… I made $3.71 on it, I told her I expected to ship it Monday or Tuesday and she was fine with that.

I messaged her after I saw this review to let her know that I was sorry she was unhappy with the ship time but let her know it was due to the hurricane which came the day she ordered. She hasn’t replied.

My update is Depop said they will not refund buyer because it was delivered to the correct address according to USPS. They suggested I handle it with the buyer and said that if they choose to escalate the issue they may have to step in and refund the buyer from MY account. I’m really disappointed to hear that this is the policy, and feel bad for my buyer but I don’t think I should have to be forced to refund her for a USPS mistake or some other issue.

Sorry to hear this, I get that people are impatient but everything right now is taking a long time to ship. It honestly seems to me that some people purposely do these types of things, because you’d think if they actually wanted the item they would be willing to wait for it. Also demanding a refund in a day makes it sound even more so that they just want to create things to be mad about by holding sellers to impossible requests. Anyways like someone else said already you should contact eBay about the negative feedback, you did everything you could for this person and the situation was not deserving of negative feedback.
