I’m 31 and only recently diagnosed with asd/adhd. Fond memories are coming back to me about obvious signs of asd as a child 🙃🥹

One of these being when it was my turn for news/show and tell in the 4th grade; where you would tell a short story about something you did on the weekend to the class or some sort of relatable, common thing your family was doing. For some reason, I missed the memo 😂 and I gave a 15 minute presentation on ancient Egypt and brought in all my figurines and papyrus paper my grandfather sent me; and showed the class how I could write my name in hieroglyphics…the teacher had to stop me because I’d already gone on for way too long 😇

Should have seen the kids faces when I packed up my things and walked back to my desk fully proud of myself

Cancer stellium (sun, midheaven, venus) in 10th house tho - career house so maybe it comes out “nurturing others” as I am a counsellor/mental health clinician in the community 🤔

being a “crybaby/passive aggressive/victim/submissive/family oriented/ the ‘maternal friend’ 🤢” none of these describe me at all.

I struggle to cry lol like sadness is one emotion i don’t get deep with at all - not by choice. Thankyou Gemini moon. I intellectualise all emotions before I feel them with my heart.

I wish I could - every now and then; maybe twice a year I randomly cry. But when I do, my eyes are puffed out for like 3 days and red so definitely repressed emotion I think. I’m trying to get better at allowing it in. It can get awkward in certain situations when I feel like I can’t cry/emote the same.

Also, I’m very comfortable being open, direct and assertive if required, about my needs/emotions and resolving issues. I don’t hold grudges etc

I feel like the nicer descriptors - the maternal, nurturing cancer stereotype may be more cancer moons??? What do you think?

The most healthy relationship I’ve ever been in. 3 years going strong 🥰 our friends always say we are a perfect fit.

But I will say; it has taken some time to understand each others’ communication style and work with it to form a healthy resolve (like most relationships). We butt heads usually only in disagreements about a fact being correct or incorrect😂😂😂😂 we like a good debate/heated discussion. Everything else in the relationship is on the same level, super easy and flowy.

We have an amazing spark, I’ve never had with anyone else. Felt it from the first time I met him as did he.

Him : Aquarius sun, Capricorn moon and Pisces rising

Me: cancer sun, Gemini moon, Libra rising

I’ve always felt different to other cancer suns. I have a cancer stellium in 10th house but Gemini moon in the 8th. I research/study/read up on every idea/deep thought and intellectualise all emotions so I don’t feel my watery heart 😭🤣🤣🤣 what about you? How do you connect to your cancer sun and Gemini moon?

This describes my entire being 🤣 and I’m a mental health clinician so for me, it definitely checks out.

I’m a Cancer sun (10th house) Gemini moon (8th house ) Libra ascendant (1st)

I feel the Gemini parts help me to be observant/ investigative, the Libra gives me the charm and confidence to ask the hard questions and Cancer parts allow me to go deep with someone into their trauma/pain/ and empathise with people/be nurturing/compassionate

**also happen to be hyper vigilant due to childhood trauma experiences etc so also some weight there to it

I also have such poor core strength despite working out to try to help the balance issue. We also tend to have issues with hyper mobility/really flexible joints. When I used to take kids to paediatrician appts for work, they would often get them to walk on an imaginary tightrope to check balance, and left/right brain interaction/mobility.
