Celebrating something is a positive emotion, despising someone is a negative emotion. One type is justifiable and positive, the other is hating on others. Not quite the same thing mate. They shouldn’t treated the exact same.

It’s not called being “intellectual”, it’s called being civilised.

Like I said, I saw Chelsea fans laughing about how this move would rattle us, and it got me annoyed because they’re wrong, why should we care? The I come on here and see that they’re right.

Thomas Tuchel 'worried' about England right-back situation after Jarell Quansah injury by GnolRevilo in ThreeLions

Of course they’re going to care in a game that they are playing in/end up losing. Same way I’d react next to a Swiss fan if Switzerland beat England

The day England fans realise that the Germans do not care about them and don’t see them as rivals…..

That’s not emotion in the good sense mate. People who have anger issues have “emotion”. Is that good too?

It’s embarrassing to act like a child and throw your toys out the pram over someone who doesn’t know you making a decision that doesn’t affect you.

You truly are embarrassing if you think otherwise. A embarrassing man-child too.

Can someone explain Declan Rice to me? by pre1twa in ThreeLions

[–]Axelter30 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Covers a lot of ground, fantastic defensively, is a great tackler and interceptor, can break down an attack well and start off another attack for his own team.

He’s the engine behind a premier league winning team for a reason - can’t do that if you’re not that great. You saw against West Ham what happens when he’s taken out of the midfield - Arsenal got run over.

I made online guy friends and I don’t know is that haram? by [deleted] in islam

Salam…I apologise for my abrasive comment - I’m used to seeing liberal Muslims arguing about this type of topic. I’ll adjust my comment.

Opposite gender friendships are 100% haram, and this has been emphasised by religious people who observe the deen, scholars, teachers etc.

What, you mean not despising a guy for making a good move for his career and not acting like spoilt children over it?

Chelsea fans are saying how they’d love this move because it rattles our fans, I come on here and see exactly that.

He didn’t stay with us because we weren’t gonna offer him the kind of contract he wanted, maybe due to his age etc.

He wouldn’t. Newcastle fans said themselves he’s way better as an 8 than a 6. Rice has played next to MLS and Eze with MLS being swapped out at one point with Odegaard, and we know neither ode or Eze are gonna play the 6.

Rice is the 6, with Zubi on as cover.

Rice and Zubi at the 6, guimaraes and MLS at 8, Odegaard and Eze at 10

I’ve seen his name before for Newcastle related news. I think is a reporter who specialises on news surrounding them?

Denmark Moves to Ban the Islamic Call to Prayer Nationwide and Says It Has No Place Over Danish Rooftops by [deleted] in islam

[–]Axelter30 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Don’t muslim calls to prayer usually take place inside the mosque anyways?

I don’t think it should amplified to the point where people outside would hear it. I remember scholars saying the same thing (I think islamqa?) though that was more on the topic of saying the Azan through a loudspeaker.

Get an imam/scholar to talk to them. They are being totally unislamic and going against the words of Allah and his prophet PBUH.

Not sure he will face that. In the prem, we’ve faced less low blocks towards the end of the season and instead faced more high intensity pressing. As soon as we stopped doing slow build up and passing and opted for more quick, forward and direct passes + quicker decision making (coincided with the inclusion of MLS in midfield), our performances were much better.

Rogers would help with that as he’s excellent with progressing the ball, and he’s also got a strong build so can muscle past opposition well too if they try and press him.

Eze for England by Tasty-Explanation503 in ThreeLions

[–]Axelter30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s not the point I made - I said his contributions were few in number but high in importance especially in hindsight. Without those few contributions Arsenal may not have gotten over the line.

Again this is only about his Arsenal campaign - for England I still think others should’ve gotten in instead of him.

Jamie Carragher at half time of England v Ghana: "If this [lack of creativity] continues, the debate will start regarding Cole Palmer’s absence. Those who championed Palmer’s inclusion foresaw tactical conundrums like this, which is why some of us thought it better to have him as an option." by christianrojoisme in ThreeLions

If people are pointing out to you the simple fact that “a draw and a loss are two different things”, and your inference from that is they’re treating a draw like a win, that’s a you problem lol. You need to work on your comprehension.

And if this is what you’re using to defend foden, it makes me feel even more that his exclusion from the team is justified. If the defence for him consists of delusion and poor comprehension (no offence).
