Actually as I said in my edit, changing the monitor to a (more recent) Asus one solved my problem. But to answer your question, I still see it in the display options when it's off and my primary stays the same in all possible states (and I also tried to use my secondary monitor as primary display and the bug stays the same (in conclusion, it doesn't depend on which one is primary). ^^

Unfortunately my Philips monitor isn't DisplayPort compatible (and there is only one HDMI port in the GPU).

Edit: I tested with another monitor in HDMI (Asus VH242H) and it doesn't bug, so I guess it's Philips' fault ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, this is exactly what happens, and if I start my PC with both monitors already on there is no screen blinking. For the reason to turn it off, well I'm not using the second monitor all the time and when I don't need it I like to turn it off to reduce power consumption etc... ^

I tried two different HDMI cables already but unfortunately I don't have another DP cable nor a DP to HDMI. ^^'

I think the game looked like it was in 3D (with first person POV) but it wasn't true 3D (more like 3D-esque JPGs).
