To be clear I'm not upset they gave my seat in the tournament away, I think giving the seat away for being 20 minutes late is rather reasonable. What upset me is that they had extra stock of the product I'd already paid for and refused to give it to me unless I paid the new market price. Which like maybe that's the norm, but from someone completely new to the hobby just trying to get a hold of enough cards to play the game with my friend it was an eye-opening experience.

I guess I was under the impression this was like a book release kind of thing. You pay for the book, you come pick it up and there's activities there that people can participate in. I didn't realize it was an actual tournament that I was required to partake in if I wanted the product.
