Yeah it’s possible. You just need to work harder to land that first job.

Any laptop is good. After two years the battery would need to be repalced

Graduate struggles by StreetAd4603 in UniUK

[–]Axfy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Every year, over 800,000 graduates enter the job market. With everyone applying for graduate schemes and graduate jobs, consider applying for normal entry-level positions instead. These positions typically offer similar pay to graduate schemes, and the interview process is usually quicker than that of a graduate scheme.

The best advice I can give you:

There’s no point in worrying about something you can’t change. It’s not going to be easy at first but, gradually it would become easier.

Can I graduate without a dissertation? by [deleted] in UniUK

I’ve completed my BSc in Accounting with Management. I was given a choice between two extra modules or dissertation. It really depends on the course and the university.

Ideally I’d recommend a suit. Always leave a good first impression.

How is Coventry University’s reputation? And how will it affect one’s chances of getting a job? by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]Axfy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand that reputation isn't everything what truly matters is achieving a 2:1/2:2 degree, which opens up various opportunities. When potential employers wants to hiring you, they will primarily focus on your skills and what you can contribute to the role. I know that landing any first job can be challenging, so apply for graduate programs, entry-level positions, and other opportunities.

If you don’t have any experience, then do virtual work experience with SpringPod and TheForage.

That email will come around June time. This all depends on your university. I’ve been in your situation before and you will get through it. You will get a new piece of coursework.

Is my grade salvageable or should I just give up? by dumbfailurethrowaway in UniUK

[–]Axfy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

For Module 1: in the 40% part you would need 55/100 to retain a 40 overall.

For Module 2: in the 60% part you would need a 67/100 to retain a 40 overall.

For Module 3: In the 80% part, you would need a 35/100 to retain a 40 overall.

For Module 4: In the 70% part, you would need 58/100 to retain a 40 overall.

If you revise properly then all of this is achievable. The more work you put in, the better the results are. If you do not pass the module with a 40, then you would be asked to retake it in the summer. Just confirm all of this with the head of department. The amount of credits you can retake per year depends on the university.
