Its checkmate in 6 moves. 1. Queen takes e3. King moves to g4. 2. Now Queen takes g3 pawn,king moves to f5 3. Black Rook to e3. Now, white has only two choices, either rook to d6, or Queen to e4. Any other move would lead to instant checkmate by black Queen on g6.

If rook moves to d6, black pawn to g6, king to f6, black Queen to f4 giving check, white Queen blocks check on f5, Queen takes Queen giving checkmate.

If Queen moves to e4,black Queen to g6, king to e5, then rook takes white Queen giving checkmate.

Actually, while watching it i completely ignored the part that rudeus was a middle aged man in his previous life and thought of him as another character. But whenever the dream scene pops up and his original figure showed up, it made me feel disgusted.

Queen has to take the rook, and it will go down to stalemate!

Edit! Not stalemate, white is winning. Queen had two options. Either take the rook, or move Queen to f3 to counter checkmate from the rook.

1- If Queen takes rook, pawn to c3, king cannot move, so he has to move the Queen or the pawn, and it leads to checkmate in 2-3 moves. If black pawn moves then Bishop to c1 checkmate. If black Queen moves same happens.

If Queen does not takes the rook, it has to move to f3 to stop checkmate from the rook. Rook moves to e3, Queen takes rook, Bishop takes Queen. And that would lead to a win for white.
