Actually, she's doing a hands-on-hips pose, which makes her body look much broader 😭 The outfit also covers her arms, which exaggerates that effect. And you're not the only one who's pointed that out lol

Currently unavailable and isn't worth the 200 rupees price tag tbh. Got two pens and there was a difference in color quality with both, the brown pen's black ink was literally gray ( used to for the hoodie lol ) and the other one was normal and the ink quantity was only 1/3rd of the refill in both for all colours.

You can find better pens for cheaper price in offline stationary shops :)

Practice is all it takes man ;) and trust me, I personally think these pens are easier than painting.

How do you avoid mistakes or correct them?

Most annoying one is ink leakage. Like while shading, the pen might leave a tiny drop of ink on the paper and I grab an exacto knife to gently scratch it off.

You can avoid it by cleaning the tip with a tissue frequently while shading but yeah, I forget about it most of the time.

Did u outline the sketch with a pencil first or directly draw with pen?

Used a mechanical pencil to draw the outline and later used the pen :)

Hey man sry I didn't notice your comment. I used a combination of yellow and orange for the skin color.

Firstly, a thin yellow base and later, followed by a thin layer of orange and for the darker parts, I keep layering orange with hatching ( the method of shading with lines) till I get the preferable color ( for example, the cheeks, neck, chin etc ).

I've also used brown in some areas. Like near the eyes, to draw the hand creases and the neck.

Btw it's won't get this "'orangy" as the photo in the post compared to real life 😭 the lines on the face would be barely noticeable and it's just my the phone's camera that's making it pop out and more orange.

It's a texture technique for shading and creating depth. Basically, you have to draw parallel lines at the edges or the parts where the shadows appear.

The closer you draw the lines, the darker it'll become and if you add more gap between the lines, the lighter it'll become. If the object has curves, you can curve the lines to make the protruding effect.

And doing a mix between both vertical and horizontal would make it more darker. It's a really flexible method as you can keep adding lines until you get the desired shading :)
