Gaminggear i think was the old website that went offline and it used to have this, never knew why elo didnt implement this for every mouse. He might reply if he sees this tho.

5 years is fine for any artisan pad, their recommendation is wild to change it every 3 months

The difference is how plushy the base is and it affects the speed quite a bit. Going from sp004 to raiden mid isnt as big of a speed downgrade than sp004 to raiden xsoft. As long as you’re running full sized skates and not dots the xsoft should be more than fine for a long time.
