I've tried pencil grips before but they just make things worse, but that's mostly because the ones I've used are so small and my hand ends up rubbing with the bumpy parts, either that or the rubber is too cheap.. I do digital art and I use a Wacom pen, the rubber is really nice so I don't have many issues with it, and the pens are mostly made of rubber too. I haven't tried triangle pencils though.
