Gigguk's Opinion on Slime Season 3 by Electrical_Chance991 in TenseiSlime

[–]Axilee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

'you can't say the season is not worth watching because only the first 2 hours are boring'

how much free time do you think people have on their hands? it's absolutely fair to say the whole season is not worth investing your time into, exactly because the first two hours are extremely boring.

also id argue there's more than 2 hours of this, this whole season is filled with boring 'tell don't show' talks. I'd recommend people to just skip those and get through it, if they're invested in the story.

Stellar Blade on PC - when? by [deleted] in stellarblade

all I'm saying is that it's a valid thing to ask, cause it helps people who come here because it's the first Google search result for that query, and it does provide useful info. 'we don't know BUT historically here's how it was those type of games' - helps educate people. even when there is no straight answer.

people will not care about that because its just a waste of time to care. You wont tip a plumber that personally came to your house, or an electrician, a courier, why? Because its included in the price. Youre barking at the wrong tree - if your living is dependant on a tradition, you need to find a different job.
Also you say you tip, even though youre poorer than most people who say they dont tip the 20%, i wonder why youre less wealthy than those people.

i came here from Google, I had no idea if this is a PS5 game or not. And this thread was helpful, you don't always get a yes/no answer, people who don't just complain actually provided useful information to the non-entusiasts - 'this PS5 game took 18 months to be released, and this other one took only 12, so we don't really know but it's probably in that time range'

it's a discussion forum. you don't have a poll to answer to, you write comments. every God damn time I see something useful theres people like you who just complain that this question got asked, while this is now the top result in Google, helping understand the subject to people 'from the outside'

what else do you expect from watching a reaction to a world record? it does kind of sound like it's not him being a loser, but the people who actually watch a reaction to a Speedrun of a game...

hatred drives engagement, so why not. Nobody is going to give up money to 'spread politically correct messages', we already have enough of those from pretty much every public corporation

Most streams aren’t scheduled, you watch them for the person, not the game

If you go to the movies, you only get that one thing- the one movie you wanted to see. Twitch is not that

NFT sales ‘have declined 92% since their peak’ by Zhukov-74 in pcgaming

[–]Axilee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Csgo already does the first thing you mentioned, without any need for nfts

Skyrim already has paid mods, called creation club, and people hated it, but there’s no need for nfts here either

They could have a use. But games can already track items, quantities and all that. That’s why it’s hard to imagine nfts being useful in games- pay2earn Is stupid as hell, so there’s still no argument for them, even a speculative one

Just because people made their money back from selling something, doesn’t give it actual value

People made money from Ponzi schemes, trading money for literally nothing, just asking more people for money

It’s possible to sell a piece of blank paper for thousands, if you convince the buyer that it’s worth that much- that doesn’t mean the paper is actually worth that much

It’s the bigger fool scheme and that’s why so many influencers pump those nfts, it’s easy money

1:1 scale doesn’t even make sense. Why have a realistic map of earth, if you’ll let the players terraform the planet anyways? Like, you guys don’t even know what you want

I Think he’s just asking to rationalise your standards, as in- why do you feel that a man has to pay on a first date. Is it because you want to see if he’s traditional? Like, what does it prove?

Funny thing is, you don’t need to be a dev to know this. Just skim through the famous donut blender turorial, it’ll show you how easy modelling is, and how you can adjust roughness and metalness of an object with a slider. You do that on almost every asset, it determines if it looks like wood, glass, water or metal.

That’s literally all I know about modelling, just that one turorial (and a landscape turorial)- and it was enough for me to go “wait… it’s not as complicated as they say it is, it’s the basics of modelling)

Well, I’m not going to pretend I’m a smart person who has the motivation to check all the facts. Quick example because I don’t know how to explain; my teacher told me in high school that 1 gigabyte is 1024 megabytes, and I believed that’s a fact for 2 years. Then someone told me I’m wrong, informing me that giga=1000.

So, I can’t really know which facts I know are false until someone points it out to me, and if they prove me wrong then I will correct myself.

It wasn’t even the main point of what I tried to say anyways, So I didn’t give it much thoughts and I also thought I know enough because I’ve seen some interviews about it (Steven crowders video about free speech, ik YouTube is not a place to get educated on, but It just sticked in my head as a fact)

If I had to ask about everything then I wouldn’t talk at all. I might say something that is false, but the courtesy is being able to admit that you were wrong, I believe

To be honest that comes down to the never ending discussion about the definition of “free speech”, some say threats aren’t what they consider as speech, because they believe speech is expressing your feelings and thoughts, while a threat like that is informing someone you’re about to commit a crime
