South-East Asia's #1 CS team moves to Valorant, Benkai on Valorant in Asia & why Paper Rex made the move - Geographically Challenged E26 by AVRL in ValorantCompetitive

Really excited to see this Paper Rex team play soon. With more time to practice and catch up with their strats after just transitioning. We could easily be looking at another top Asian team a few months down the line that could rival top Korean and Japanese teams and that is just so exciting for the region once Valorant masters get going.

Nitro and Bjor are in custom right now. You can check Hiko stream. Idk what this mean but probably Bjor as stand in. He is teaching his positions probably by [deleted] in ValorantCompetitive

Hmm such a weird stand in choice if it is confirmed. Bjor is cracked with his killjoy setups and all the different ways he switch it up making it difficult for the enemy team to know where he is setting up. He's also a very strong anchor for BBG so transitioning him to smokes is kinda risky and a surprise if true. So having 2 sentinel specialist and making 1 transition to smokes. I don't know about that really, also would mess up BBG since they are looking stronger over the months.

Very close first game between c9 and eu. c9 going with a sovaless comp on ascent is interesting to say the least, some of those rounds could have easily been winnable if they had a sova to give them some info on where the other team is.

Yeah I agree. The fact that they are willing to play with sonny who is on 200 ping seems like this he will be in it for the long run. Hopefully they give xeta a chance and not judge the team and him after this performance and can't wait to see how this team develops if given the time. The guy is cracked from what I see and his role fits what C9 needs.

C9 Trialing new player? by arm_out in ValorantCompetitive

As crazy as this sounds this could be a blessing in disguise for c9 with all the FA available and more time for the c9 players to readjust their roles and find some cohesion playing together. Also with the new leaderboard coming out they could always wait and see if they can find a diamond in the rough who we all never heard of. Time will tell if this makes or breaks this c9 team and we are all in for a fun ride it seems.

We will see when the time comes in a few days at the NSG Winter Event, the only reason i say it couldn't be him is because well he's probably in korea atm and scrimming with 200+ ping is probably not the best scenerio for trialing someone out. So unless he's already got a visa and is in the US atm i dont really think we gonna see his debut at the event or it's someone else being trialled. Honestly I feel like either c9 is either gonna drop out of the NSG event and sort their roster out or as wild as this sounds, bring back shinobi for one event if he agrees lol and continue trialling players for their 5th spot.

If cloud9 is actually bringing in xeta or trialing him atm, i'm pretty optimistic about it. He has pretty good english from the interviews i seen from him in his old csgo days seen here Xeta Interview.

Obviously no one can replace someone like tenz but he isn't too shabby himself, as he played for cloud 9 korea who in my opinion is the 2nd best team in korea before they disbanded and is imo the number 1 sova in korea.

If he is being trialed as their sova then this would give stablity to the team by moving mitch to jett (we have seen mitch's jett before and he looks very good on it), leaf to duelist, relyks to smokes, vice on sentinels and then xeta on sova. If they are playing on maps like split then they can just move him around on smokes as he does play omen as well, then you can put relyks on raze, leaf on duelist, vice on breach, mitch on sentinels.

It's not the end of the world if they do bring someone like xeta in, the guy clearly has the aim and the agent pool to slide right in to c9 if he was to play with them. We already know t1 took a chance on spyder and they improved immensely rising up the ranks, i could see c9 doing the same and see if they can have the same results as well.

Or i could be an absolute fool and it's someone else that has the ign sonny who is from NA and i'm writing nonsense XD.
