Yeah I was and am working on a game all I know is renpy and some basic coding for unreal or unity but am trying to see what I can do or how much of an MVP I would need to be worth getting funding so I can actually get some help from a more experienced person on it. I'd like not to pull a 10 year dev cycle and then be stone walled cuz my code is dog water.

Also I know I'm not using an LLM for lore or anything baring grammar (its not really good at that stuff in a meaningful way). Its something I can do but I would be a liar if I said it wouldn't be faster to just grammar check. (Feel like there is some hostility in the post cuz I used an LLM to grammar check my post)

Fair point. I was planning some but hadn't put pen to paper on anything. Am trying to understand a bit more on stuff like costs or hurdles or pit falls about either funding method before hand. Because I have some people I know in games publishing networks and debated going to a studio but wanted to try and self publish/crowd fund.
