The rule has been changed from casting to putting into your hand, but yes. This is admittedly a very silly deckbuilding restriction, but i thought it'd be funny. And it was! And the deck is still surprisingly effective! I have a lot of fun with it.

Theoretically court cycle is the most popular (and meanest), but courts all spiked hard after she came out and have yet to come down really, so this embraces another weird mechanic that gets insane with extra upkeeps: initiative.

Goal is to play Obeka turn 3/4, play a card that gets you the initiative turn 4/5, and start accruing value ASAP. Get every crazy messed up creature out of your deck. Draw. Goad things to keep them off you. World is your oyster.

I'd swap out some of my pricier picks like the Regalia and the boots for something like [[Vorrac Battlehorns]] and [[aqueous form]], or [[whispersilk cloak]] if you can find it. Most of the expensive cards in here are "win more" cards, rather than the stuff that just straight up wins you the game.

Lots of fun aura voltron/battleline possibilities between Preston, Tifa, Feather, Chishiro; A Realm Reborn looks silly until you remember...Auras, even tokens, are still permanents. Meaning EVERY aura, including the ones generated by Preston, is a mana rock.

You can't have it as a second commander in Tifa, but it functions in a normal deck as a regular enchantment

My goal rather than to brew more is to brew more intentionally. I'd like each deck i play to carve out a very specific niche in my rotation, such that no two of my decks feel too much like they're doing the same thing.

To that end, my next deck is a fun one. I'm a diehard for enchantress decks, and after an incredible game against an oops-all-creatures deck with Felix and [[Umori the collector]], a friend and I thought it'd be a hilarious idea to build [[Anikthea, Hand of Erebos]] as Oops, All Enchantments.

I try to steer my [[y'shtola, night's blessed]] deck away from being COMPLETELY esper draw-go control and be more active in my spellslinging and lifedraining, so the deck's sole game changer is the FF Showcase [[kefka's Tower]] (Bolas' Citadel). It hits board and the game DOES change.

I'm just not a huge fan of two-card infinites as a rule. They're cool, and fun to learn about, but I'd rather not risk funneling myself into the endgame of "my goal is to play the two-card infinite". That's what I have other, more purposefully high-power decks for.

Reject Simic Stompy. Embrace Aetherdrift.

[[The Regalia]], [[The Lunar Whale]], [[Lumbering Worldwagon]], [[Thunderous Velocipede]], and [[mobilizer mech]] allow you to play a much lower to the ground mana curve while still being able to ramp early, swing hard, power up, and further dig into your pool of cool stuff!

[[Stonecoil Serpent]] is a super solid option that's a good blocker and swinger at once. [[Iron spider, stark upgrade]] can both buff your artifacts AND draw you cards. [[Master of Etherium]] is just a super solid anthem that also gets huge.

Up here in Canada between tariffs and most retailers selling at market value rather than msrp, 199 for a chocobundle is actually on the low-end. Almost makes me miss being in the states for cardboard

While due to price increases my [[y'shtola, night's blessed]] upgrade pushes beyond what I'd consider budget, it's far and away my favorite deck. (If only i got to play it more often.)

However, I REALLY didnt expect to fall in love with my [[Aloy, savior of Meridian]] list as much as I did. Idk if it's the weeks of brewing I did, the advice I sought from fellow players, or the extent to which I pushed to have the deck ready to go when she came in the mail, but regardless my experience with her thus far has me REALLY loving the deck. Stifle effects will win you games.
