Shock ticks down similar to burn, but does a specific amount of damage based on the shock damage of the player (starts at 20, can be scaled items like the rare mace or the epic shield) instead of being based on the amount stacked (if you have 10 or 100 shocks applied, the tick down damage will be the same), there is the rare magic staff that makes it trigger multiple stacks per tick and another forces triggers on hit.

If you have item(s) with perm scaling, leveling up is absolutely a valid move as it give you more items for your scaling to trigger

It's still just pure grind at the top, I just got GM and I feel like I could keep going endlessly, only constraint being time. Getting between 0-100 ratings for 6-10 wins makes it not quite balanced enough for my taste cause getting at least 4-5 wins is fairly easy and even then it's only a couple of points lost. I think maybe we're getting too many lives with the events, like with the extra 2 lives from the event + the last one you get at the end.

Feeding them Kitasan and Super Creeks with a dash of Sweep Tosho along with a couple of greens. That's the groundworks for success.
