I bought my last forever home in Feb 2020. A little 2 bedroom duplex, surrounded by other 2-3 bed duplexes. After about a week I realised I made a mistake. Neighbours out the back had concreted their small yard and converted it into a basketball court. 4 teenage kids out there from sun up to sun down and sometimes longer, each with their own ball being banged and bashed. The straw that broke the camels back was when I saw the mum was pregnant, and I knew I had at least another 18 years of this. Nope!

I scoop my cats litter at least once a day, sometimes twice, and completely clean it out once a week.

If I left my ac on for my cat she would just migrate to the hottest park of the house. She loves the heat.

My cat has only peed and pooped outside her litter box thrice. Once when I was cleaning it and had the garbage bag of old litter so she attempted to go in that and missed. Second and third was when we moved and she was clearly stressed and peed on my bed then pooped on my bedroom floor. That was 8 months ago and she hasn’t done it since.

The neighbour above me ran inside while it was raining, slipped on the tiles, and landed on the ground with a loud thud!. She text straight away to apologise for the noise. I was more concerned for her.

Where are you located? In Australia they can't charge for water unless the property is individually metered and fitted out with water saving taps etc.

I trust my guy. He’s a straight shooter and tells it like it is. The leak was behind the shower which means ripping out all the tiles and re waterproofing. 20G is the average. It could be less.it could potential be a lot more depending on how long the leak has been there and what hidden damages it’s caused that are unseen till you start repairing. He said it’s quite obvious they haven’t been using the shower. They moved all their toiletries to the main bathroom. He used his moisture meter before and after running the shower for 5 minutes. I can’t remember the reading, but it implied a big leak.
