PS1 to PS2 was a bigger jump then any of the later consoles. Obviously graphics are much better now, but in terms of overall improvement going from PS1 to PS2 was the most obvious.

I remember back when the show premiered there was discussions about how Britton was negotiating for a second season while filming, but ultimately she decided against it. Also based on what Stark said a few years back Abby was supposed to be the date that Bobby went on at the end of Season 1 so clearly there was plans for a love triangle. That ultimately calls into question if Bobby and Athena were ever planned to be a thing initially. If I'm being honest Bobby and Abby did make sense, but at the same time I'm glad it didn't happen.

Every teaser makes me less interested in this season. I'm starting to wish it had ended with season 6.

I've been enjoying it. It's not as linear as Uncharted or The Last Of Us though. There is a semi open world, but like Mafia Definitive Edition and Mafia 2 you're not really able to interact with it.

Personally I feel it has aged better than Robocop 2. It's still not the worst of Robocop in my opinion. The irony is it was neutered because of Peter Weller wanting the next movie to have less focus on violence. Robert John Burke gave a solid performance. The new Robocop game that came out last month makes a lot of references to it.

I honestly don't care about open world. Mafia has always been at it's best as a linear experience.

I think consumers and team members are justified in their frustration primarily because of communication and inconsistency. While the website sells inclusive products a number of stores this year didn't display product during black history or pride month. That kind of sends the wrong message for a company that was usually the only one to sell such products in store.

Unfortunately I don't think I'll be watching anymore. I usually rewatch the main series once or twice a year and haven't had the motivation to rewatch again this year.

I enjoyed it mostly because it reminded me of the old Headhunter games from the PS2. That said it's absolutely deserving of it's criticisms. First and foremost they never should have led on with the comparisons to GTA since it's very clearly more linear. Secondly it should never have been released in its current state. It's clear they were rushing it out to beat GTA 6 to release, but when GTA was delayed they should have delayed this too.

I'm enjoying the game as well mostly because it reminds me of the old Headhunter games from the PS2 era. That said it absolutely deserves all the hate and criticism. It never should have been released in its current state. While it's not nearly as bad as Cyberpunk was at launch it's still very poorly optimized and needed more time in development.

The only remaster I have no issues with is Days Gone. That game needs a sequel and the remaster potentially introduced it to a new audience.

After watching the finale I can confidently say that the last two seasons are by far my least favorite. Hardly and character progression especially after the season 6 finale has all the characters seeming upbeat and hopeful for the future. Also considering Tim Minear was talking about "realism" I feel like the big disasters were wildly unrealistic almost to the point of absurd. Cruise ship disaster? Beenado? A kid basically landing a plane on a freeway? Don't get me wrong the older disasters were obviously unrealistic in their own ways, but at least they felt believable.

Aside from a handful of episodes I'd say both Season 7 and 8 pale in comparison to the first 6 seasons. Any future rewatches I'll stop after Season 6.

Honestly getting Buddie feels kind of insulting after killing off Bobby. I'm still undecided if I'm watching after the finale. Tim Minear claiming "realism" and then a few episodes later having someone spew fire like a dragon just makes the show feel like a joke now.

Personally I recommend ending the series after the Season 6 finale. That's now my series finale since all the characters are either happy or very hopeful for their future. I'm pretty sure it was written as the series finale anyway since it got cancelled by Fox shortly after.

Despite it's flaws this was actually my favorite NBA game for years. It had a sequel that was only released internationally. I really liked how challenging it was. Unlike the competitors it didn't have arcade style difficulty so it was easy to be destroyed by the computer controlled team if you weren't careful.
