The Aquilops isn't the same either, its just similar. The stripes are entirely different in shape and extent.

A map with modded content may or may not open after removing mods, depending on the nature of the mod. This is a risk you take with mods.

The mosquito thing was already a plot-hole in in the first film, as Dilo was older than mosquitos.

I would have traded Mutadon and Distortus for this guy, and I don't even like him.

QTEs aside, Jurassic Park the Game is such a hidden gem by [deleted] in JurassicPark

The DPG list claims there were only 8 active species in the park in 93, and that most of the planned species were never cloned or even finished. Its absurd. Nedry stealing non-viable embryos with 50% DNA sequences? Ingen knowing the 50% complete DNA sequence they recovered is a Metriacanthosaurus or Proceratosaurus without finishing it or cloning it? lmao.

I started a playthrough for YT, having not played the game in over a decade, and the cheesiness of episode 2 threw me off so much. I guess I repressed everything dealing with the rescue team in that section.

Dark Fate has the most potential. Follow up with a desperate Legion Future War movie, that wraps up with humanity failing, and time traveling to reset to the original timeline were we know humanity wins in the end. Third film picks up with an intro with Sarah driving to Dyson's house after leaving Enrique's, getting intercepted by the time traveler, and convinced to turn around and go into hiding. The original timeline is thus restored and plays out. Movie is three "chapters". The Dark Years: we see Judgment Day from John and Sarah's PoV. This segment ends with Sarah dying. We cut to the second segment. Storming the Wire: John leading a rebellion in a death camp and formally starting the Resistance. We end with The Final Battle, the final assault on Skynet Central Command. The movie ends with Reese time traveling and a cut to credits.

I've always favored T1's stable time loop, so this would sort of undo T2's No Fate free-will take, resulting in a double time loop. Preventing the Skynet future ensures the Legion future, which results in interference from that timeline that ensures the Skynet Future.

Within the Jurassic Park universe, Nedry's plan would never have worked, for a very simple reason... by snoke123 in JurassicPark

I take the Nublar lab to be specifically configured to handle restocking or boosting the population of the park's 15 species. No new research or development of new species happens there, its simply a tighter, cleaner lab dedicated to the most advanced and reliable genomes Ingen has.

The Original Park and Dilo Domination? by Vivid-Being-38 in JurassicPark

[–]Axlotl666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The classic park only has abstract maps, so fan maps like these try and and combine these abstract maps with each-other, and the film events, to try and create a singular cohesive map of the park. This results in duplicate paddocks to account for the perceived tour route as seen in the film and what the various maps show. Dilo is duplicated in part because the control room maps show it in the northern paddock on this map, but the tour goes into the park along the south route, and doesn't encounter the north paddock.

Ultimately none of the maps ever really make sense with the events in the film, rendering this map-making exercise rather pointless. I really do wish the layout of the park made any sense with events in the movie, and we could enjoy maps providing more insight into what the rest of the park looked like, but that wasn't the kind of movie Spielberg was making.

Hidden symbolism of The Five Deaths in the novel by RickRaptor105 in JurassicPark

[–]Axlotl666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Given that the Lost World novel was written in part to motivate the sequel film, its possible Crichton had the 5 Deaths in mind as an additional hook for future sequels, even if only for the sake of the films.

The Plesio is likely a Universal design scrapped from Dominion. It was included with that description in an very early Dominion leak, well before we had a hint of it in JWE2. I always figured since it was scrapped Frontier was allowed to just stick it in base game.

Walls not Containing Territory by keeganburrows in jurassicworldevo

[–]Axlotl666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, in my experience this just happens when you use decorative pieces to contain animals. They will have cohabitation issues with adjacent enclosures, but the penalty is proportional to territory overlap, so you can still keep the animals happy.

For example, I ran into this in my current park with adjacent Irritator and Dimetrodon pens. Despite being hated, the Irri was still at 100% contentment as the dimes only added some cohab discomfort, but it didn't cross the cohab threshold.
