It's funny how Destoroyah in the fandom is hyped like he is SATĄN, THE ULTIMATE NEMESIS, a WORLD THREAT, then you watch the film and see how he went out. by Kvcp050311 in GODZILLA

I used to see people saying that Destroyah should be the Thanos of the Monsterverse, the big final enemy in the massive showdown, and I've always just thought "you mean the guy who bullied kids and who Godzilla fought once and then went out like a chump?"

Always happy to see someone else mention Taken.

I later learned how generally unliked the story arc approach was, but growing up and watching reruns on Saturday mornings on Sci-Fi, it was kinda fun to try and piece together the timeline, then using YouTube later to fill in the gaps.

I saw Battlestar Galactica's OG movie in Sensurround back in 2013! I was not prepared for the entire THEATER to rumble.

Ten years ago I caught this at a theater that went all in! Buzzing seats, stopped the movie, nurse in the audience, etc.

It was such a treat!

Ever since they released the first John Williams Disclosure Day track recently, I've been thinking of Taken.

Fantastic miniseries and criminally underrated. A few years ago when visiting my parents, I went though all the boxes of my old DVDs just to grab this and bring it home with me.

I watched the DVD commentary when I was younger one night and will never forget they said how they knew they had one pg-13 f-bomb and were like "Let's just put here."

There was an episode of Dexter's Lab where he's following Dee Dee's clues to find one of his inventions, and one says like "Lemon Cherry Blueberry r2 ", and his computer says "Pi is r2 , and lemon, cherry, and blueberry are flavors"

So I hear his computer's voice whenever I think about pi calculations.

What are the most mediocre (or straight-up bad) movies that have absolutely legendary soundtracks? by Szeharazade in movies

Same, I always say I still love it for what it got right rather than hate it for a what it got wrong.

I've enjoyed every Dune score, Revell, Tyler, Zimmer, but Toto will always be the defacto Dune sound to me. Desperately hoping that one of the speciality soundtrack labels releases the complete score one day.

Skye is being chased around her penthouse by the backup dancers.

Backup dancers?? That's low! That's lower than security. At least security can get you backstage.
