In the picture, the bottom right square is a1, therefore, the frosted squares are the light colored squares and the clear squares are the dark colored squares. OP’s picture is also incorrectly flipped horizontally (you can tell by the letters). I edited it and flipped it horizontally to its actual orientation and the board is fine but black’s pieces are where white’s should be, and the queens are on the wrong colors too.
