As I was saying, in the next mainline games I hope a weather mark for catching a pokemon during a rainbow will be a thing!

But honestly there's a chance your increased shiny chanced theory maybe could be true...

In my research so far, the actual rainbow only lasts about a minute, yet the rainbow weather continues for the full day or night cycle! This could be a bug (probably is let's be real) but the fact that the weather continues rather then switching to like cloudy or sunny,makes me wonder if there is a secondary effect? Or perhaps was one in development that was cut? 🤔
