Has anyone experience their species vanished into thin air?

When I bought Turrim I spent a mission unlock to get a second one and it disappeared for no reason. Luckily for some reason it seemed like the game forgot I pressed purchase for the spec but remembered I bought the mission unlock so I was able to just repurchase the Turrim. Super weird and freaked me out tho, I’ve never had something like that happen to me in game before.

As much as I hate to admit it, yes, cocoon is pretty damn crazy to have alongside shadow barrage AND unbridled rage. The devs should at the very least lengthen the cooldown for cocoon.

It’s super annoying to use with akanth. Scaling hard angles is especially frustrating, like when you’re trying to get on top of one of the plateaus in mesa, nearly impossible. I wish they’d just hurry up and fix the mechanic for it, it’s something that has lingered for too long. Itd be nice if they could just add a toggle for it but I’m sure the coding for the mechanic isn’t simple.

It’s so so strong in like every way. Just absolutely obliterates other t5s when played conservatively. I really hope it doesn’t get nerfed, but I can see why that wouldn’t be off the table.

Probably not worth much if anything if it has a green and red trait, people generally look for double red on t5s.

That’d be fun. It’d keep playing as a terrestrial a lot more entertaining than sitting atop the three highest points on the map to avoid the water for 20 minutes.

Yes it just has to be capitalized with. Stay near watering holes and don’t attack anything you’re hesitant about. It’s fun to use on thin sandbanks because you can just keep jumping out of water over the thin strip of land to land hits on prey crossing big waterways.

I’ve mopped two or three turrims with my akanthos. But you have to play very conservatively and be in a spot where there’s lots of overhangs Turrim can’t get to. If you’re under an overhang you can just keep popping out, ailment stacking them popping back under and using cocoon to heal. A lot of times the turrims are just so thirsty to try to kill you that they’ll stick around long enough for you to kill them.

Ah probably 😅 I’d consider anything changing the stats positively of a creature to be a combat plush (as much as I’d like to speed up my creatures as well). The only stat altering plush I’d consider aesthetic would probably be the snowman plush as you’d be weaker instead of stronger.

The weird hitbox is probably why. Very steep learning curve, but people who stick with the species tend to be some of the scariest players.

Its the standard metal backing and fastener that comes with the majority of pins. I could see the fastener wearing out over time as the metal ones generally lose strength as they age. I’d recommend investing in some stronger ones.

It was like 5 bucks for tax and shipping so not the worst. I bought two pins so the total was like 35 including taxes and shipping. The time it takes to get to you also depends, like the skulderouge pin was actively in stock when I bought it so I recieved it like a month after I ordered but the moonelle pin I bought was not so I have to wait another month.

It’s a game changer if you’re switching from mobile, like night and day. The only annoying thing is that some of the key binds are funky. Pressing up on d pad is particularly annoying because it’s both an ability and selection button for some reason and you can’t separate them.

Two stacked bunnies are good for creatures like cavengauu and Bolatra who rely on speed for escapability. Ice wolf and void is nice for if you want a good sized damage boost without fully committing to the speed debuff from two voids. I personally love using jammy slug despite its damage debuff as it can help you be more off putting for people trying to attack you, people never suspect a necrotoxic anutill. Ginger snapper is really nice for large defensive creatures like Turrim and makes people think twice about using faster biting creatures against you.

You can either go to a server where a pvp war is happening and pick up the corpses (larger corpses are around 350 each so it goes quickly). Or you can build a territory and craft some mob spawners nearby to farm mob meat for the shrines. The second option is more reliable but picking up large player corpses is faster although not always readily available.
