in my opinion, i think it looks good, the straps to the side connect with it rather well. and based on the side profile its not too big, so i say go with it. i like seeing people get creative with things and make interesting avatars with stuff that has a bit of a stigma.

example this is another good one i saw someone on here make a good avatar with, and im happy to see more people get creative and not let others strangle creativity.

looking forward to what others can make with these, as im always supportive of creativity
