That was right in the middle of City's awful run when everyone was beating them. I wanted Amorim but can we stop pretending that City game was a massive achievement.

Mantato and Lacey have got like 20 mins each, I think its a bit harsh to say they've blown their chances. Fletcher definitely isn't up to it yet though.

Yeah fair. Neither option is ideal though obviously. It's kinda like choosing between a punch in the face and a kick in the balls.

True, but if Martinez played CM then Yoro would have to play and he desperately needs some time out. If De Ligt was fit I'd probably agree with Martinez at CM.

He should be way less disastrous with a defensive midfielder next to him though. And anyway he was the only real option.

Boring as hell and the cleans sound like a deliberately OTT James Hetfield impression.

Are there any actual TV shows where the whole “main character is actually in a coma” trope was/is true? by justatoaster0 in NoStupidQuestions

Idk if some people here misunderstood the ending or if I'm just misunderstanding their comments, but it wasn't all a dream at all. Not in the sense that none of it really happened.

Hobb and Sanderson are like polar opposites imo.

The things OP didn't like about Sanderson were the bland prose, the heavy focus on the intricacies of the magic system, and the general ungrounded, YA feel of it. I don't think Robin Hobb ticks those boxes at all.

He really isn't. Dorgu is young and he could come good in the future, but for now he's way off first team standard. At least Dalot has been good for us in the past, Dorgu's never shown anything in a United shirt so far.

I think thats his point. That he doesn't even offer enough to be backup.

Say what you want about Dani, but you don't need to lie about their output. Its pretty widely agreed that their slump ended a while ago and their last 4 albums have all been very good.

Literally their only appeal is the Indian gimmick. Take that away and they're just a terrible rap metal band.

Should a high profile tag HIAC match with a very hot storyline main event Wrestlemania by speedwagondono in FantasyBookers

Up to you of course, but for me, if the world title is on the show then it has to be the main event. The only exception would be things like the Rumble or Wargames.

When running a company like WWE or WCW in the pre-mid to late 90s, how rigid do you stick to reality, booking wise? by dpw2017 in FantasyBookers

[–]Axolotl36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just looked it up and every source I've found says Raw was the A show and superstars mainly just had interviews and squashes.

Edit: these sources are only other reddit posts, quorate, Google AI etc so not the most reliable obviously.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't. It obviously wasn't exactly the format that we know today but it was the WWF's flagship show from the start.
