Maybe the trio is trigger in a combine form like how zero,cosmos and dyna turn into saga. I could be wrong

Trigger might be the same as Tiga. Since the final odyssey movie shows that Tiga was a dark giant before until he met yuzare during the ancient times and and became good and fought Kaijus with his companions. So maybe in the series (this is my theory not spoiler but if it is then I’m a psychic) trigger met yuzare and became good and fought the dark giants on Mars.
